Discovering Writers Since 1998
Write for Television? We Want to Read Your Pilot.
The BlueCat TV Writing Competition discovers and develops TV writers through careful reading and written feedback on every pilot submitted. Submit your hour or half-hour pilot and receive a detailed script analysis, included with your entry.
Where Our TV Writers Have Landed
The BlueCat Difference
What Makes Us Different
Written Feedback on Every Pilot
Every TV pilot you submit receives a detailed written analysis at no extra cost. Our readers engage with your characters, your world, your voice. This is development-quality feedback designed to help you make your pilot stronger.
Revise & Resubmit
Used your feedback to strengthen your pilot? Submit it again. BlueCat lets you revise and reenter your script for a fresh read. We believe the best TV writing comes from development, not just competition.
Get Discovered
BlueCat TV winners are introduced to over 400 literary managers and agents. Our alumni have written for Only Murders in the Building, True Detective: Night Country, Pretty Little Liars, The Morning Show, and more.
"The feedback I received on my pilot was incredibly specific and constructive. It helped me see structural issues I'd been blind to for months."
